Darren Purchese's Dark Chocolate, Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Salt Flake Toastie

Method

Preheat a toastie machine and slices the bread.

Drizzle extra virgin olive oil onto the hot surface and add a slice of bread. Drizzle more extra virgin olive oil and add the chocolate, sprinkle with salt and top with the second slice of bread.

Drizzle more extra virgin olive oil onto the top slice of bread and press the toastie machine. Cook for a few minutes until the chocolate has melted and the bread is golden brown on the surface.

Transfer the toastie to a chopping board and cut into two, place onto a serving plate and drizzle with more olive oil and sprinkle with salt flakes.

Eat immediately.

80ml Cobram Estate Extra Virgin Oil Light Intensity

As needed Salt flakes
