Blood Orange & Dark Chocolate Brownie

Cooking time


1. Preheat oven to 160C. Line the base and sides of a 27cm X 17.5cm X 3.5cm baking pan.

2. Warm Cobram Estate Blood Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a saucepan gently over a low heat for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add chopped dark chocolate to saucepan.

3. Allow to stand for 5 minutes without stirring to allow the chocolate to slowly melt. Stir gently until chocolate has melted.

4. Beat eggs and sugar for 1 minute in a standard mixer. With mixer running slowly pour chocolate mixture into egg mixture and mix until combined.

5. Fold through flour until well combined. Pour mixture into prepared pan.

6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until almost set. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before removing from pan.

Serving suggestion - Slice and serve with whipped cream, ice cream or for a healthier alternative enjoy with fresh fruit.

1 cup plain flour
